Membership
The Belgian Mauritian Business Club welcomes businessmen or women who meet the following eligibility criteria:
– is Belgian, resident and engaged in Business in Mauritius, or having strong ties with
local business community
– is Belgian, regularly visiting Mauritius on business
– is Mauritian, engaged in business in Mauritius and has strong ties with the business community in Belgium
– is otherwise actively promoting business and economic ties between Mauritius and Belgium
Additional criteria shall apply, such as:
– Good standing in your country of origin and locally.
– High level of business ethics.
– Other as may be set up by the membership committee.
As a member of the Belgian Mauritian Business Club, you can engage in the following areas:
– Newsletters.
– Lectures and seminars.
– Business lunches with high-profile guest speakers (a few per year).
– Relations with MCCI, Business Mauritius (MEF/JEC) and other Mauritian business and Trade organizations.
– Relations with Foreign Trade organizations in Belgium.
– Relations with European Union representation in Mauritius, and European Businessmen in Mauritius (other
than Belgian).
– And many other engagements.
